When it comes to achieving more in your life as a creative, start with the big picture and identify a yearly focus you want to work towards.
Then move down to a quarterly focus where you pick 2-3 projects to work on over the next 90 days that will move you towards your yearly focus.
Continue down to a monthly, weekly, and daily focus and give your creative work the time and respect it deserves.
Goal Setting: A Scientific Guide to Setting and Achieving Goals

It's easy to set goals but more difficult to do what is required to achieve those goals. Everybody wants a gold medal, no one wants to train like an Olympic athlete.
If you focus on more than one goal at a time, you can end up swimming in circles and make no progress at all. It's important to prune back our goals every so often so we can ensure we are only working on things that are of value to us.
Being able to measure and track your progress towards a goal can be extremely effective at motivating you to complete it. You can also see your progress and examine how effective you are.

Show your work, then share the system you used to make the work happen. This gives you twice the amount of content to share with your audience.
You don't have to be an expert to start. Be a guide for those just one step behind you. Be a guide, not a guru.
